Job Purpose

Responsible for solutions that are published/released within set deadlines, as per the scope, according to the budget and are of the highest quality.

Ensure that we produce objective, accurate content without hurting the sensibilities of any community.

 

Principal accountabilities

 

Editorial:

  • Design, develop and deliver resources as per the pedagogical practices and curriculum requirements of the target market, according to the task assigned by manager/supervisor.
  • Prepare and maintain publishing-related
  • Evaluate key competition and prepare detailed competition analysis for new series as well as
  • Develop sample chapter templates with all the
  • Work with authors to finish the assigned work in time as per the approved scope and
  • Responsible for content accuracy, all varieties of editing of the resources we
  • Interact with freelancers, content developers, reviewers and authors to finalise the book(s), digital components, teacher support

 

Budget:

  • Responsible for delivering the projects within the budget allotted
  • Compliant as per the processes established by Cambridge University Press while dealing with freelancers, content developers, subject matter experts, suppliers and vendors

 

 

Customer Connect:

  • Aware of the new developments in the K12 segment of publishing
  • Understand the pedagogy and nuances of the subject
  • Understand the user environment of the target audience
  • Deliver product training to the target customers

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Master's in relevant subject from a premium university or educational institute
  • Minimum 4-5 years in a competitive work environment
  • Strong editorial skills
  • Exposure to assessment creation and implementation
