Job Purpose

The role of the CDC Full Stack Developer is to actively support the process of integrating SAP Customer Data Cloud with Cambridge platforms. The role-holder will continue to maintain the strategic Cambridge Login application and work as part of the Identity Shared Service team to ensure that the integration support provided meet and exceed expectations.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Work as part of the team to provide technical expertise to the platforms integrating with SAP-CDC.
  • Maintain Cambridge Login and make enhancements when necessary.
  • Liaise with platform teams to support the Integration process.
  • Create and maintain the Platform Integration knowledgebase.
  • Create / maintain knowledge articles and How-to'.
  • Provide technical advices and guidance when requested.
  • Work alongside the Solution Architect to establish integration standards.
  • Work with the Support team to resolve integration issues.
  • Identify, create and enhance new integration solutions.
  • Ensure the support provided offer a robust, resilient and high quality integration solution.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Java, PHP.
  • CMS frameworks (e.g. Drupal, WordPress etc).
  • CSS3 & HTML5
  • JavaScript and related frameworks (e.g. Json, React, Vue.JS or AngularJS, GO, NodeJS).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with colleagues of all levels across the Press.
  • Continuous integration and Continuous deployment tools such as SVN, Maven, Jenkins, CodeBuild, Bamboo)
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant IT/Software related degree.
  • 5+ years of software development expertise within an area of web technologies, identity management or Systems Integration.
  • Experience of working within an Agile development framework (Scrum / KanBan / DevOps)
  • Solid solution design & principles, analysis and documentation skills plus experience of Web infrastructure and related technology areas and modern day “DevOps” engineering practices.
  • Knowledge of Identity management, preferably SAP Customer Data Cloud or gigya.
