What will you do as a Junior Quality Analyst?


Your tasks will primarily be performing manual tests and creating automated scripts, procedures, data and handling smaller or less complex area of software testing. With close supervision from your team lead and senior analysts, you will also create and review systems and business-relevant test scenarios and execute automated test scripts.

Your role will also involve working with various stakeholders, including business product owners, Scrum Masters, project managers.


With you in the team, Cambridge will be able to continue providing software quality assurance across a wide range of world-class online digital products and platforms.



What qualifications are we looking for?

We are looking for candidates with 0-2 years of software testing experience gained across one of the principle testing specialism (i.e., Automation and Manual Testing).

In addition, understanding, knowledge or expertise in the following are an advantage:


  • Knowledge in Javascript and Automated tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Visual Studio Code, GIT
  • Performance testing tool specifically Apache Jmeter
  • Agile development process (Scrum or similar)
  • Familiar with different functional Testing techniques
  • Flexible, collaborative and can work well with a team and possess good interpersonal and good communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Passionate, proactive, self-motivated, innovative and analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Responsible, reliable and takes ownership on responsibilities


An ideal candidate for this role also possesses the essential skills to become a future team leader and decision-maker, including communication skills and working with peers in different time zones.
