We are recruiting for a passionate Software Development Project Lead who will be part of our English Technology Team in Manila.  The role will be leading a team of in-house developers focused on creating full-stack JavaScript solutions and taking an active part in building a new team to support the needs of the business.

What will you do in this role?

The role will be leading a pilot team of developers in using new technology and tools and setting up an automated and continuous delivery pipeline.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up required tools and processes for deployment of different projects, as well as the implementation of agile development practices within the team
  • Collaborating with the Solutions Architecture Head to understand and propose strategies for the implementation of the architectural landscape
  • Mentoring more junior members of the team
  • Developing, maintaining and implementing different web applications and services
  • Providing high level support for the projects that will be implemented

What are the qualifications?

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in full-stack JavaScript development and a strong background in developing, managing and maintaining different web applications.  You will be the ideal candidate if you enjoy working in a fast-based environment and being able to work with different stakeholders in a problem-solving capacity.

In addition, experience, knowledge or expertise in the following are an advantage:

  • 3+ yrs. Experience with at least two of the following: REACT, Angular, Vue, or Ember, NodeJS, AdonisJS, GraphQL, NuxtJS, TypeScript
  • Experience in Agile development whether it may be Scrum, Scrumban and/or Kanban.
  • Very strong HTML5, and CSS skills
  • Experience in leading a team of developers.
