We are recruiting for talented Tech Lead to manage a team of engineers, cloud and systems administrators in performing day-to-day support for multiple cloud and on premise environments within our manila operations.

This role will provide/allow you participate in design reviews and solutioning; may include technical engagements which would involve understanding different business requirements, proposing and delivering custom solution. This would also help you develop a strong track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environment.

What will you do in this role?

You will be a part of the Global Hosting Services, managing a growing team of Cloud Operations Engineers focused on supporting the entire infrastructure estate, ensuring service uptime by monitoring system stability and performance to ensure availability, reliability, and usability.

As a tech lead you would also be expected to:

  • Identify areas that require automation or scripting to performed recurring tasks in a more efficient way
  • Monitor system resource utilization, errors & alerts trends for the purpose of problem management and capacity planning
  • Manage cloud server/storage deployments including promotion process, image management, data transfers, backup/restore, HA/DR
  • Document systems configurations, and technical operational processes and policies.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?

We're looking for someone who has an extensive background on system operations, hands on experience in isolating and troubleshooting on cloud or virtualized environments and a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and emerging trends.

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure
  • 5+ years of experience with the AWS cloud technologies
  • 5+ years of direct leadership experience.
  • Experience working in a continuous delivery environment.
  • Experience managing and implementing Cloud on a DevOps/Agile methodology
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT support organization providing 24/7 coverage


  • Demonstrated proficiency and experience working with AWS and some of the following: Linux, Microsoft Windows, databases, web services
  • Experience with the following AWS features: EC2, ECS,ELB, EFS, RDS, S3, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, WAF.
  • Expert knowledge of chef, puppet or other Infrastructure Automation frameworks.

Desired Certifications:

  • AWS Certified Associate SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified Associate DevOps Administrator. Or AWS Certified Associate Solutions Architect.
