We are a united, vibrant, and respectful global community of people, and we ensure that every individual is recognised, listened to, and cared for. And because our impact is amplified when our people are empowered, we give everyone the opportunity to develop in their own way. Whether you want a career that's linear, or want to follow your own path, we'll support you, and help give you the resources and training you'll need to be bold and take ownership of what you do.

On top of these, working with Cambridge will also give you stability. We show our care for our people by allowing them to grow not just professionally but also personally. We promote work-life balance through flexible work schedules, hybrid work arrangements, and generous paid leaves. In addition, you will be entitled to our health care benefits, group life insurance, and robust wellbeing programs right on the first day of joining us.

What will you do in this role?

Technical Product Owners are responsible for business and technical analysis, design and architecture of solutions managed by the English Technology team. This role is placed in the Customer Integrations team enabling customers to integrate their school systems - LMSs such as Blackboard, Moodle or Canvas, into the Cambridge One elearning platform.

The role will work in a global matrix environment collaborating both with customers, technology teams and business groups in the wider global business. Customers Integrations is a new team, and the role will proactively help shape the team's remit and responsibilities. Because of customers being located across the world, occasional and reasonable level of flexibility may be required to enable collaboration with them in real time across time zones.

The role will be accountable for:

  • Understanding and analysing requirements for integrations through direct collaboration with customers
  • Defining technical solutions to these requirements and implementing them in a cross-functional scrum team
  • Working closely with customer's technical teams to implement integration journeys between their platform and Cambridge One using existing capabilities. This will require training customers and providing documentation to support the process.
  • Supporting smooth running of the integration service for any issue resolution and escalations
  • Personal development and research to understand technologies, frameworks and capabilities needed in the platform integrations space

What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?

This is a technical role, so we are looking for a technologist experienced in technical business analysis with good understanding of solutions architecture who can act as a bridge between the customer and internal technical teams to help translate requirements into technical solutions.

Knowledge of system integrations patterns and practices in the LMS and LTI space is nice to have, but training will be provided.

Customer facing responsibilities require excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with customers.

The team and customers are remote and located globally, so focus on collaboration and proactivity in communicating is critical.
