To enable us to meet the ever-increasing demand for our services, we are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic Administrator, who will thrive in this changing environment and is motivated by continuous improvement, both personally and professionally.

The Role

This role encompasses a range of tasks and responsibilities. Reporting to a line manager, you will need to establish a high standard for the following activities:

  • Provide admin support for commissions
  • Author test content using in-house systems
  • Generate reports for managers using in-house systems
  • Use of in-house item banking systems and online content authoring tools
  • Support Assessment staff in carrying out User Acceptance Testing on in-house systems
  • Organise payments for external Writers and Examiners
  • Support Examiners as part of the Examiner Management team
  • Act as second-line support for our customers using Zendesk

About you

Qualifications

At least Grade C English at GCSE level or equivalent

Skills

Essential

  • Time management and organisation
  • Ability to pick up new systems and processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages in particular Outlook and Excel

Desirable

  • Ability to use own initiative to suggest improvements to systems or processes

Experience

Essential

  • Significant experience of working in a busy and complex office environment
  • Experience of working with complex systems

Desirable

  • Experience of using relevant in-house systems
  • Experience of using basic design software to work on graphical input
