We are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join our UK Finance Team and will be on a hybrid working setup.  As a key member of our team, your role will be supporting the delivery of relevant, timely and accurate reporting of financial management information to internal stakeholders and ensuring the integrity of financial data across UK company codes. This role will also include the opportunity to be involved in various initiatives to improve and standardise processes in addition to being responsible for the completion of regular tasks.

What makes you the ideal candidate in this role?

 

The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:

 

  • At least 3 years of experience in Records to Report Accounting, General Ledger.
  • Has certification either CPA, CMA, AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or Part-qualified ACCA
  • Good understanding of accounting processes e.g. Month End Closing Activities, Intercompany Transactions, Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Intermediate level Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF)
  • Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues in the Finance Shared Service center.
  • Preparation of Audit Supporting schedules and assist in audit inquiries.
  • Knowledge in SAP is beneficial but not essential
  • Flexibility to work with different countries (time-zones), groups, and business environment.
