We are looking for an Assistant AP Manager who will be part of the Manila AP Team within the Finance Shared Service Centre, the primary purpose is to ensure the prompt and accurate processing of payables documents and to make timely and accurate payments to payees in compliance with agreed payment terms.

What will you do as an Assistant AP Manager?

As an Assistant AP Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of the accounts payable process for the company. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working as a member of the Accounts Payable Team within the Finance Shared Service Centre, the primary purpose of the job is to ensure the prompt and accurate processing of payables documents and to make timely and accurate payments to payees in compliance with agreed payment terms.
  • Assistant AP Manager is being responsible for vendor and payable ledgers, the team processes approx. 10,000 invoices per month for multiple global ledgers.
  • The role supports the day to day running of the AP team and high volume of invoices and payments.
  • Line management responsibilities for number of direct reports and indirect reports.
  • Requirement to make judgement for business critical payments, provide advice to the Business on payments and instructions for team priorities.
  • The role manages the AP Training for SAP Global rollouts.
  • The Primary purpose is to ensure the prompt and accurate processing of payable documents, to make timely and accurate payments to payees in compliance with agreed payment terms and to work with the business and external suppliers in dealing with queries.
  • The role supports system improvements and implementations.
  • Deputizing and approvals in Global AP Manager absence

 

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:

  • You have 5 years of Accounts Payable experience, including overseeing processing high volumes of invoices in global environment and multiple ledgers.
  • Have a solid understanding of accounting principles and SAP system.
  • Strong management skills
  • You will have experience supporting projects, system rollouts and process improvements
  • Strong communication skills and experience in managing stakeholder relationships
  • Work collaboratively with other departments, such as procurement team and finance
