We are looking for a dedicated an Associate Experience Designer to join our Experience & Service Design team. The role will support the design of end-to-end user experiences across our English products and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to turn user insights into intuitive, accessible, and impactful design solutions.

What will you do as an Associate Experience Designer? 

Reporting to the Experience & Service Design Team Lead, your accountabilities will include:

  • Create user-centered design solutions across end-to-end experiences, from concept through to implementation, with guidance from senior designers
  • Support UX research activities (e.g. interviews, usability testing, surveys) and translate insights into actionable design decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, developers, QA) to ensure designs are feasible, aligned, and implemented to a high standard
  • Contribute to and apply design systems to ensure consistency, accessibility, and quality across platforms and touchpoints
  • Manage your workload effectively, communicate progress clearly, and build strong relationships with stakeholders to champion a human-centered approach

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

An ideal candidate has the following qualities:

Essential:

  • A portfolio demonstrating experience in UX, service design, or product design — showcasing your design process, problem-solving approach, and how user insights informed your decisions (not just final UI outputs)
  • Working knowledge of UX design principles and methods (e.g. journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, information architecture)
  • Familiarity with UX research practices and ability to support research activities and interpret insights
  • Experience using design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Miro, or Jira
  • Able to communicate comfortably and confidently in English, both verbally and in writing, including presenting work and participating in discussions

Desirable:

  • Understanding of service design practices (e.g. service blueprinting, ecosystem mapping)
  • Experience working in agile or scrum environments
  • Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design standards
