Work setup: We operate in a hybrid work environment, and we encourage applicants who are open to working in the office two days a week to apply.  

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 11AM to 7PM or 12PM to 8PM Manila time (overlapping with UK operating hours and adjusting to daylight savings)

We are looking for an Associate Software Asset Analyst to join our Core Technology team. This role will be an opportunity for you to support the effective management of the organisation's IT assets across their full lifecycle, ensuring financial and operational efficiency and compliance.

What will you do as an Associate Software Asset Analyst? 

Reporting to the IT Asset Manager, your accountabilities will include:   

  • Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including acquisition, allocation, maintenance, renewal, and retirement activities. 
  • Produce Effective License Position (ELP) reports to support software licence compliance and asset governance. 
  • Support asset optimisation through licence reallocation, retrieval, and redeployment initiatives. 
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and maximise commercial value. 
  • Identify, escalate, and help resolve asset-related risks, supplier issues, and cost optimisation opportunities.

Essential:  

  • Demonstrates proficiency in managing and analysing complex information, including software licences and asset data. 
  • Exhibits strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
  • Demonstrates advanced IT capability, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications, and database usage. 
  • Shows effective problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt and improve working practices. 
  • Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills while working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels. 

Desirable:  

  • Demonstrates knowledge of Software Asset Management principles and best practices. 
  • Shows understanding of IT Service Management through an ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent knowledge. 
  • Displays experience using ticketing systems, vendor management, contracts, or SAP purchase order processing.
