We are looking for a Change Management Analyst to join our ITSM team. The role will ensure that all changes moved to Production are reviewed, approved, and implemented, timely and with quality, based on the official process and policy of Cambridge University Press and Assessment. They will promote process awareness and assist in driving Change Management to a new level of maturity.

What will you do as a Change Management Analyst?

 

As a Change Management Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that all changes moved to Production are reviewed, approved, and implemented, timely and with quality, based on the official process and policy of the Cambridge University Press and Assessment. Promotes process awareness and assist in driving Change Management to a new level of maturity.

 

You will also be expected to:

  • Work with the Change Manager to ensure that standardised methods and procedures are being used for efficient handling of changes to minimise any service disruption and deliver with service quality.
  • Coordinate with Technology Support and Development Teams to ensure all changes are reviewed, approved and implemented according to policy and standards
  • Assist in managing CABs, ensures the changes are well documented and complies with the current Change Management policies and standards.
  • Trigger regular communications, advisories and reports related to Change Management in order to provide improved visibility to Change Community.
  • Conduct Post Mortem Reviews and Lessons Learned Discussions in relation to failed, unauthorised, rolled back and critical and high priority issues (operational/business-driven) where change is involved

 

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

 

Having the skills, knowledge, or experience on the below would also be essential:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Technology/Information Systems /Engineering or related course
  • ITIL v4 Certified
  • At least 2 years of experience with ITSM Change Management
  • Experience with process documentation & mapping, workflow and reporting
  • Experience in dashboard reporting and various Process Methodologies (Agile, Waterfall etc) is a plus
  • With analytical, creative thinking, negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the organization
  • Commitment to work during UK hours
  • Ability to work with people personally and remotely
  • Effectively maintains good relationship across Technology and business streams
