Work setup: We operate in a hybrid work environment, and we encourage applicants who are open to working in the office two days a week to apply.

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. This role will be an opportunity for you to provide technical leadership across cloud infrastructure while ensuring reliability, performance, automation, and security of critical systems.

What will you do as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer?  

Reporting to the Infrastructure Hosting Engineering Team Lead, your accountabilities will include: 

  • Acting as technical lead for projects and platforms, including gathering requirements, evaluating options, documenting architectures and configurations, and implementing complex infrastructure solutions.
  • Documenting system architectures, configurations, operational processes, and playbooks.
  • Creating automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Supporting deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of cloud resources (AWS, Azure, Cloudflare).
  • Providing Level 3 technical escalation support, including incident response, troubleshooting, and change management activities.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role? 

An ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in supporting all the following fields:

  • Server Administration: Strong experience managing Linux and/or Windows servers.
  • Scripting & Automation:
    • Proficient in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
    • Experience automating server operations and routine tasks.
  • Cloud Technologies:
    • Working knowledge of AWS or Azure services (EC2/VMs, storage, networking, IAM, etc).
    • Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure setups.
  • Networking Basics:
    • VPCs/subnets, routing, DNS, firewalls, VPNs.
  • Monitoring & Logging:
    • Understanding of tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or similar.
  • IaC / DevOps Exposure:
    • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CI/CD pipelines.

 

The selection process will involve three levels of interviews, including one face-to-face interview in our Makati office and two virtual interviews.
