We are recruiting for a Credit and Collections Specialist who will be part of our US Credit Team.  This team is responsible for Managing the asset of debt, within the global credit policy, by means of on time collection and responsible credit decisions.

This role will provide you with meaningful challenges in balancing the act of assisting growth of our business while protecting the company asset of debt. In addition having the responsibility of accurate credit decisions and the granting of credit to customers while adhering to a very stringent credit policy.

What will you do in this role?

The Credit and Collections Specialist will hold accountability for a set of customers assigned to their charge. As a Credit and Collections Specialist, you would be following a US schedule and managing US customers, with low value, high volume accounts. You are responsible for your customer's credit needs, while adhering to the credit policy.

You would be expected to manage your accounts in the following ways:

  • Assist with creation and reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Creating and maintaining monthly aged debtor/credit reports.
  • Chasing unpaid invoices by phone and email.
  • Dealing with any queries and resolving on a timely basis.
  • Maintaining up to date notes against each customer detailing actions taken and to be taken.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?

We are looking for someone with strong Maths and English qualifications. You will need to be computer literate, possess a confident telephone manner and have a good attention to detail.

Accounts experience and qualifications is preferable however not essential.

  • Team player

  • Effective time management skills
  • Effective organisation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office & Excel

Note:  This works follows a US (Eastern Time) work schedule (i.e. 10pm - 6am Manila time).
