Data & Integration Solution Designer 

Work setup: We operate in a hybrid work environment, and we encourage applicants who are open to working in the office two days a week to apply. 

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 10AM to 6PM Manila time 

Employment type: Permanent 

Location: Makati City, Metro Manila

We are looking for a dedicated Solution Designer to join our Exams Technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing technical excellence and robust architectures in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.

What will you do as a Solution Designer? 

Reporting to the Mulesoft Architect, your accountabilities will include: 

  • Define, document and communicate appropriate solutions, patterns and implementation frameworks for data products liaising closely with Architecture. 
  • Break solution delivery into manageable components so that multiple people or teams can contribute to the same solution. 
  • Manage quality assurance at solution level, ensuring that delivered components works together as designed. 
  • Identify and manage/mitigate any associated human and technical risks including - but not limited to - data security, quality, and privacy and compliance frameworks.  
  • Promote and model the best practice for working with technical design of data products; educate and evangelise as necessary to enable colleagues to be successful.

An ideal candidate has the following qualities: 

 
Essential: 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills; able to communicate solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Able to facilitate discussions across complicated business and technical topics.  
  • Hands-on experience in using API's in an operational or analytical context 
  • Experience in MuleSoft 

Desirable: 

  • Experience working in a consultative role. 
  • Competence in data engineering, analytical queries, and data visualization. 
  • Experience in AWS, Azure Cloud and Azure API Management. 
  • Experience working in agile and customer-centric ways.
