We are looking for a Data & Integration Solution Designer within Exams Technology. The Data & Integration Solution Designer will provide new features and functionalities and collaborate with a team that works efficiently together, in a supportive and rewarding environment. The role involves working with a wide range of stakeholders and will require initiative and excellent verbal and written communication.

What will you do as a Data & Integration Solution Designer

As a Data & Integration Solution Designer, you will collaborate with product managers, solution leads, stakeholders, and developers to create solutions and define technical specifications for certain business requirements. You will be responsible for designing scalable and high-performance solutions and applications.  

The role involves working with a wide range of stakeholders, and will require initiative, as well as excellent verbal and written communication. 

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

The role holder should be an experienced data engineer with expertise in analytical queries, data visualization, and API usage in both operational and analytical contexts. Familiarity with agile methodologies, customer-centric work, data products, and data contracts is important, along with the ability to facilitate complex business and technical discussions. Consultative experience would be a valuable asset.

Key technical skills include:

• • In-depth knowledge of data structures, management, and architectures (conceptual, logical, physical models)
  • Proficiency in organizing data for both analytical and operational use (relational, graph, vector, non-SQL databases)
  • Expertise in SOAP, REST APIs, and OpenAPI standards
  • Understanding of orchestration platforms, event platforms, and data streaming integration
  • Strong foundation in IT and the software development lifecycle for effective cross-functional communication
