We are looking for a Digital Content Controller to join our Print Books Team Manila. This key role supports technology services in delivering high-quality print and digital content for Cambridge University and Assessment. The position involves direct communication with a multicultural setting, processing requests from CUP&A branches, content managers, and printers in various countries where the books are needed and printed.

What will you do as a Digital Content Controller?

 

As a Digital Content Controller, you validate digital assets for Academic, ELT, and Education in the Cambridge Asset Management System, ensuring quality and timely delivery. You interact with internal teams, external suppliers, and provide service to Publishing groups. The role also involves assisting with marketing materials and other tasks. You will communicate with CUP branches, content managers, and printers in various countries.

 

Your responsibilities as a Digital Content Controller

  • Help in making sure documentation is updated, daily worksheet reports are updated and provide presentations where needed.
  • Ensuring all files are accounted for in the CAMS and of the best quality for print/web publishing.
  • Ensure clear communication with the requestors with both internal and external teams in multicultural settings before delivering all updated files to specified partners and assisting team members when needed.
  • Report any scripts' discrepancies and provide errors documentation.
  • Contribute to the record of all the queries or issues encountered and the corresponding resolutions where changes in agreed CUP&A standards are strictly followed.
  • Render assistance in any other workflow involved in the Content and Data Services Manila and UK teams that need urgent attention to meet production deadlines.

 

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

 

You will be an ideal candidate if you have/are good working knowledge in both print and web publishing. In addition, experience, knowledge, or expertise in the following are essential:

  • Skilled in Prepress Essentials
  • Good understanding of Asset Management System
  • Ability to adapt and decide in a very fast-paced working environment
  • Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Cloud, PitStop, Font Manager, Python scripting, and other related products in a MAC OS environment.
  • Have an established and strong fundamental in print publishing design especially offset printing and different printing companies.
