Pay range: Php 62,000 to 84,000

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Manila team. You'll be part of our Infrastructure Cloudflare platform team, ensuring the successful management of Cloudflare services, particularly those related to Zero Trust and WAF, aligned to UK hours (BST/GMT). You will play a key role in managing and supporting of technologies owned by Infrastructure, ensuring services are continually and optimally available and operational.

What will you do as an Infrastructure Engineer? 

 As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for product support and ongoing management for technologies managed by the Cloudflare platform team. This involves safeguarding Cloudflare security, maintaining infrastructure availability, and ensuring a high level of performance. Working closely with different IT teams and departments is crucial for supporting users across the organization.  

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Provide level 3 technical operational support for colleagues within the team and the wider Technology organisation.  
• Participate in incident response and change management by identifying root causes, implementing fixes, and documenting resolutions.
• Support team growth through coaching and effective knowledge sharing.
• Provide expert advice to leaders and stakeholders.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role? 

 The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post: 

• At least 2 years of experience in the following areas: 
  • Zero Trust and related VPN technologies 
  • Web Application Firewall policies 
  • TLS/SSL and secure networking practices 
  • Network-related software and underlying technologies between L4 and L7 (TCP/UDP, DNS, VPNs, VLANs, proxies etc.) 
  • Cloudflare Workers, CDN, DDoS protection, and Bot Management. 
• Strong analytical, debugging, and incident-troubleshooting skills with the ability to apply critical thinking under time pressure.
• Effective communicator in English, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across globally distributed teams.
