We are seeking a dedicated Security Engineer Manager to join our esteemed Manila Group Security Team. What will you do as a Security Engineer Manager?

As the Security Engineer Manager, you will lead the Security Engineering team to design, implement, and manage security solutions across applications, networks, data, and endpoints. You will ensure secure development and deployment of systems, mitigate technical risks, and enhance the organisation's security posture. You will also support strategic initiatives led by the Head of Security Operations and drive continuous operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring the Security Engineering team.
• Collaborating with technology and development departments to embed security into systems and applications.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining technical security controls.
• Ensuring security solutions align with technology projects.
• Developing and maintaining technical hardening guidelines.
• Supporting incident response activities.
• Identifying and addressing technical security risks.
• Ensuring security engineering aligns with policies and standards.
• Preparing and delivering security reports and metrics.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:

• A relevant degree or 8+ years of experience in a related technical field
• Expertise in ethical hacking, penetration testing, IAM, system hardening, and patch management
• Knowledge of cloud security, network protocols, secure network design, and industry security frameworks
• Experience in endpoint protection, data classification, and encryption standards
• Relevant security certifications, a strong technical background, and excellent communication skills
