We are recruiting for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Mobile Development (Flutter) Team in Manila. This role is essential in developing innovative mobile applications that will significantly impact our organization. What will you do as a Junior Software Engineer?

Utilize the Flutter framework and Dart programming language to create high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.

In Addition:

  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders, actively participating in discussions and contributing to team efforts.
  • Implement UI Design Principles: Apply Android and iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
  • Manage State and Architecture: Implement effective state management and app architecture to maintain robust and scalable applications.
  • Follow Agile Methodologies: Adhere to Agile development methodologies, ensuring efficient and iterative progress on projects.
  • Maintain Code Quality: Write tests and maintain code coverage to ensure that the code is functioning as intended and troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.

 

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

 

You will be ideal for this part if you have at least 1 year of experience in mobile development, enjoy working in a fast-based environment, and able to work with other developers to solve a problem.

 

In addition, experience, knowledge or expertise in the following would give you an advantage:

  • Mobile App Development: Understanding of the app development lifecycle, including state management and architecture.
  • Flutter & Dart: Hands-on experience building high-quality mobile apps using Flutter and Dart.
  • UI Design: Familiarity with Android and iOS UI principles, patterns, and best practices for user-friendly interfaces.
  • Agile Development: Experience working with Agile methodologies for efficient, iterative progress.
  • Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, ensuring code quality through tests and coverage.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and cross-team coordination in remote settings.
  • Team Player: Proactively contributes to discussions and the overall success of the project.
