As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you will play a vital role in managing and expanding our top accounts. Working closely with the Country Manager and cross-functional teams, you will identify new opportunities, drive revenue growth, and strengthen partnerships in the education sector. Your expertise will position us as a trusted leader in English Language Teaching (ELT) and assessment solutions.
About The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing key accounts in both the public and private sectors, ensuring business growth and client satisfaction. You will identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions, including bespoke learning materials, digital content, and assessments. You will also play a key role in monitoring market trends, understanding client pain points, and positioning Cambridge's products effectively.
Beyond account management, you will drive sales administration and reporting, ensuring accurate pipeline management, maintaining an up-to-date CRM system (Salesforce), and overseeing P&L documentation. You will also be involved in contract negotiation and financial planning, ensuring all agreements align with business objectives.
You will represent Cambridge at key industry events, fairs, and conventions, building strong relationships with educators, policymakers, and decision-makers. As part of your role, travel will be required to engage with clients and attend strategic business meetings. Additionally, you will represent Cambridge English legally and commercially in the country.
About You
We are looking for a results-driven professional with strong experience in sales, business development, and key account management—ideally within the education, publishing, or assessment sectors. You should have a deep understanding of educational systems, government procurement processes, and Cambridge exams.
You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders across various organisational levels. Your expertise in CRM tools (Salesforce) and financial planning (including P&L management) will be key in driving sales performance.
