We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

We are looking for a dynamic person with experience in sales in the education sector to join our English sales team to help grow our English language learning materials and assessment products in the Czech Republic aligned with our ambitious targets.

 

About the role

As a Learning & Assessment Consultant, you will support the achievement of annual revenue targets by implementing the approved country strategic plan and by developing both existing and new business in Central and Eastern regions of the country.

Specifically, you will:

  • Contribute to the achievement of annual revenue and profitability targets for your assigned territory, for learning and assessment products and services
  • Build and nurture rapport to work closely with our key partners across learning and assessment promotion and distribution channels
  • Carry out face-to-face and online meetings with key existing customers and potential new customers, according to agreed prioritisation and country strategic plans
  • Advise on full range of Cambridge English learning and assessment solutions
  • Build an accurate and appropriate pipeline of leads and opportunities to feed future growth and meet revenue targets

 

This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. Aside from our hybrid principles, other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including other work arrangements should you require adjustments due to a disability or long-term health condition. 

  

About you

We are looking for a team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

You will be highly organised and be able to work on your own initiative, individually and as part of a team.

You will have a track record of working within budgets and focused on key objectives, with experience of using customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) with a background in teaching English and you will have good knowledge of the Czech state school system.

Experience in sales and marketing is desirable as is a good knowledge of Cambridge learning and assessment products.

C1 level of English and native Czech are required, along with a full clean driving licence.
