We are looking for a Library Sales Representative to oversee partnerships with academic institutions in Canada. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to broaden your experience in academic publishing and sales in a supportive and values-oriented environment.

A mission-driven, not-for-profit publisher of books and journals, we are dedicated to serving customers in higher education through world-leading research and education products and services. Together with our academic community, we are playing a leading role in advancing open research to drive greater collaboration, transparency, and accessibility.

We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

About the role

Join Cambridge's Library Sales team and be at the forefront of exciting change in the publishing industry.  Our team is tasked with bringing innovative acquisition models for journals, ebooks, and higher ed services to a diverse market of academic institutions in the Americas.  Digital product sales require an increasingly balanced approach, combining data-driven techniques with strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills. We are looking for a curious, self-motivated, tenacious and empathetic individual; comfortable working both in a team and independently.

About you

As our next Library Sales Representative, you will have sales experience with academic publishing experience. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills, including comfort with presenting.

You have a customer-first mentality with the ability to multi-task and work under deadline pressure. To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to work autonomously, to plan and execute the sales approach for your territory.
