About the role

The Marketing and University Relationship Manager will be responsible for all aspects of marketing activities in Italy, aiming to localise and adapt our marketing strategies to the Italian education environment.  It is your chance to have a meaningful impact on our mission to advance learning and research worldwide, contributing to projects that make a difference in the lives of students, teachers, and researchers globally.


The Marketing and University Relationship Manager will also ensure the acceptance of IGCSEs as a means of recognising language competences when entering university. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Regional Manager for Italy and the Senior Marketing Manager for Europe to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, conduct research, and promote Cambridge International products and services. Additionally, the role involves enhancing recognition of Cambridge qualifications within Italian universities.

•    Collaborate with regional and senior managers to develop marketing strategies across Italy.
•    Conduct surveys and focus groups to understand the needs of Italian customers.
•    Develop and implement tailored marketing campaigns.
•    Localise global marketing campaigns for the Italian market.
•    Assess and report on marketing campaigns.
•    Oversee the marketing budget for Italy.
•    Enhance recognition of Cambridge qualifications within Italian universities.
•    Represent Cambridge at university and educational conferences in Italy.
•    Create materials to support recognition of Cambridge IGCSE English by Italian universities.

•    Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
•    Fluent in Italian (written and spoken) with advanced English proficiency (C1/C2).
•    Strategic thinking and planning abilities.
•    Proficiency in digital marketing and lead generation.
•    Excellent content creation and storytelling skills.
•    Strong communication and relationship management skills.
•    Project management and organisational abilities.
•    Data analysis and performance tracking skills.
•    Creativity and problem-solving skills.
•    Experience with the education system in Italy and international education.
•    Proficient translation skills from Italian to English and vice versa.
