Position Purpose
The Marketing Manager will contribute to OET's strategic goals by driving the region's marketing activities. This
position broadly supports the South Asia team through local event management, collateral production, digital
assets, advertising, social media projects and other strategic goals. You will be supporting the Regional Manager
in India and the global Commercial Team in a range of localized plans and initiatives through coordination with
the Global Marketing Team and external stakeholders. This will entail developing new pathways to ensure that
opportunities with external stakeholders will convert into projects as well as providing expert advice to the Global
Marketing Team on the demands of the Indian market.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
OET Marketing Planning
• Devise and implement the Marketing strategy that helps drive revenue and grow market share in the
region.
• Collaborate with the wider Commercial team to create a marketing project plan and calendar, that meet
business needs in India and South Asia.
• Set clear and measurable KPIs for each project.
• Monitor trends within the high stakes English Language Assessment sectors to ensure we follow best
practice.
• Actively seek out new Marketing opportunities for OET in existing and new markets that will assist with
driving revenue.
• Engage with Indian strategic partners to create awareness of OET in the region
Marketing Implementation:
• Project implementation includes creating and managing all project marketing, ensuring the right mix of
activities and channels are utilised to achieve project KPIs.
• Manage the project budget and allocate resources to activities to ensure project targets are met, and
that each project builds and strengthens brand equity. Adapt and adjust budget allocation as necessary
to take advantage of emerging opportunities, changing marketing conditions and performance against
budget.
• Maintain relevant stakeholder data on Salesforce
• Support the design, delivery and measurement of in-country events, forums and other Face-to-Face and
digital activations
• Evaluate and report on the success of each project, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Provide support as required for B2C, B2G and B2B projects as they arise.
• Work with the Marketing Team to evangelise each project to gain support as required.

• Work closely with our network of Preparation Providers, Test Delivery Partners and Institutional Partners
to positively build the brand of OET in South Asia
• Support best in sector production of key events throughout the recruitment cycle including Candidate
and Teacher Workshops, OET Skills Workshops, Stakeholder Round Table Events, Principal Seminars and
Annual Test Delivery Partner Summits
Continuous Improvement:
• Track competitor activity and local industry trends, particularly as they relate to major marketing
projects and campaigns.
• Collect and feed customer and market intelligence to the broader marketing team
• Build own skills and learn to use new tools/ software to continually improve project management
processes and project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work effectively across teams within the organisation to effect positive outcomes

• Minimum 4 years in marketing
• Prior experience in end-to-end management of campaigns
• Working knowledge of social media (Facebook, YouTube and Instagram)
• Good knowledge of project management and CRM platforms
