We are looking for a Portfolio Systems Analyst to join our Portfolio Systems team within the Portfolio Office. This team is responsible for delivering technical services and supporting project professionals by providing systems and reports that drive efficiency in the support and management of projects and programmes.

What will you do as a Portfolio Systems Analyst?

 

As a Portfolio Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with teams, technical groups, and colleagues across the Portfolio Office to ensure effective data management, system efficiency, and informed decision-making.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with teams to understand business needs, improve data accuracy, and integrate diverse data sources.
  • Generate and analyze business intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop IT solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint, and Dataverse.
  • Support PPM tools, such as MS Project Online and MS Project desktop client, ensuring uptime and performance.

You'll also contribute to large-scale projects by managing reporting, KPI tracking, and effective data communication while recommending best practices for Microsoft Office 365 tools.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

 

We are seeking an individual who can see the big picture while also being comfortable with details. You will need to secure buy-in from various stakeholders and audiences, making strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills essential. Additionally, you should possess:  

 

Essential 

  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and familiar with SQL, PowerApps, and Power Automate; strong IT and systems competency. 
  • Minimum of 2 years in data analysis with experience in project delivery, performance tracking, and process implementation. 
  • Skilled in statistical analysis, forecasting, and complex modelling to support financial and operational decision-making. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills; able to communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to challenges and innovative solutions. 

 

Desirable 

  • Knowledge of Atlassian Jira and Confluence 
  • Basic Python experience (particularly with the pandas and PySpark libraries) 
  • Knowledge of using Hue, Hadoop 

  

The role will support a UK-based team, following UK hours, and will operate in a hybrid work setup from our Manila office.
