About the role
As a Product Owner, you will work closely with Business Owners to prioritise and maintain the product backlog for CAIE, ensuring it reflects the needs of key stakeholders and supports the delivery team's goals. You will lead agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, and participate in steering and workgroup meetings as needed. Serving as the primary liaison, you will bridge communication between the development team and business stakeholders, keeping customer needs at the forefront of every update and change.
Developing a comprehensive understanding of platform functionality, product capabilities, and business dependencies is essential, enabling you to ensure that technical solutions align with release objectives, business requirements, and quality standards. You will write and prioritise user stories, define acceptance criteria, manage and prioritise defects, and collaborate closely with the testing team to ensure changes adhere to best practices.
Regular monitoring of progress and strategic risk management are key as you drive business change initiatives and support system adoption, bringing your problem-solving skills, adaptability, and strong communication abilities into each project phase.
About you
As someone driven by problem-solving, you excel in translating complex business needs into actionable technology requirements, adapting effectively to agile and waterfall environments.
You bring a passion for web technology, data-driven insights, and user-centred design. As a skilled communicator, you present ideas clearly and can use varied methods to connect with and influence customers, users, and stakeholders at all levels. Proactive and analytical, you make sound recommendations on backlog prioritisation, resource allocation, and task feasibility. Your technical acumen extends to tools like JIRA, SharePoint, and web analytics, along with a solid understanding of structured development methodologies, helping ensure that the product meets the evolving needs of the Cambridge International ecosystem.
