We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic Project Manager, who will thrive in a changing environment and is motivated by delivering the best for our customers and colleagues.

Our mission is to contribute to society through the pursuit of education, learning, and research at the highest international levels of excellence. Which is why every year, we give vital support to millions of people in more than 170 countries around the world. From teachers and learners to researchers and academics, we help to build confidence, unlock potential, and enable success. We give people the opportunity to show what they've learnt, we spread knowledge, spark enquiry, and aid understanding.

We achieve this by embracing change, and continuously focusing on our customers' needs. And by collaborating, and carefully listening to our customers and to each other, we keep moving forward, keep innovating, and keep finding newer and better ways of doing things.

The Role

In the Transformation Team, there are around 20 team members working on a wide range of projects and change initiatives across Cambridge Assessment International Education and Cambridge University Press and Assessment group.  As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading, planning, designing, documenting and managing business change.

  • Your projects will deliver changes that enhance our processes, deliver new and improved technology solutions, and support our teams in adapting to our changing business environment.
  • You will use good Project Management practices and governance to deliver projects, working in both agile and waterfall delivery teams.
  • This role requires the ability to build excellent relationships with internal senior stakeholders and governance bodies across our organisation, as well with our customers all over the world.
  • You will need to think strategically to understand business drivers and requirements and ensure that expectations of your internal clients and external customers are met.

About you

We are looking for excellent communicators with analytical, consultative and project management skills. You should be able to influence others to your point of view and can negotiate effectively with stakeholders, clients and suppliers. A team player, with experience of managing others, you will be well organised, flexible and work well under pressure. You should have the ability to constructively challenge the status quo and can carry out the research required to come up with improved solutions.

If you have previously held roles in other change related environments, with experience in people, process and technology change and are a self-starter who can work to tight deadlines, then we want to hear from you.

The key to our work is our colleagues, whose shared commitment enables us to have an ever-greater impact. We are a united, vibrant, and respectful global community of people, and we ensure that every individual is recognised, listened to, and cared for. And because our impact is amplified when our people are empowered, we give everyone the opportunity to develop in their own way. Whether you want a career that's linear, or want to follow your own path, we'll support you, and help give you the resources and training you'll need to be bold and take ownership of what you do.

The closing date for application is 23rd January 2022 and interviews are scheduled to take place w/c 31st January 2022
