We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our Web Solutions team. As a key member of our team, your goal is to ensure the quality and reliability of our web platforms through effective test automation and performance testing. This role is hands-on and focused on building maintainable automated tests, supporting Drupal-based CMS applications, and contributing to both functional and non-functional test coverage within a fast-paced Agile environment.

What will you do as a QA Automation Engineer? 

Reporting to the Software QA Team Lead, your accountabilities will include: 

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web, API, and backend applications, covering functional, performance, reliability, and scalability testing. 
  • Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. 
  • Execute performance and load testing, analyze results, and identify opportunities to improve system stability and quality. 
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams in Agile environments to support test planning, defect management, and continuous quality improvement. 
  • Leverage experience with Drupal or other CMS platforms to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality across content-rich digital applications

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role? 

The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post: 

  • Over 3 years of proven experience in end-to-end test automation across web platforms. 
  • Hands-on expertise in writing automated tests using Python with Selenium and/or TypeScript with Playwright. 
  • Strong knowledge of integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable delivery. 
  • Practical understanding of non-functional testing domains such as performance and security. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile, and delivery-focused environment. 
  • Willingness to collaborate with and mentor manual QA engineers, helping them transition into automation practices and fostering a culture of quality.
