About the role

As School Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of Cambridge programmes and qualifications in Egypt, aligning with regional business objectives and strategic priorities. You will build and maintain strong relationships with schools, education organisations, universities, government stakeholders and other partners, helping to strengthen Cambridge's position as a leading provider of international education while delivering real educational value to customers.

Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Developing relationships with new and existing schools and education partners to support growth and customer loyalty.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and driving market growth across Egypt.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with government departments, universities and key education stakeholders.
  • Representing Cambridge at exhibitions, conferences, seminars and other education events.
  • Gathering and sharing customer, market and competitor insights to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Maintaining accurate customer information and activity records within CRM systems.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across Cambridge to support recognition, training, marketing and customer engagement activities.
  • Using data and market intelligence to monitor performance and contribute to future growth planning.

 

Travel Requirements

The role involves regular travel to engage with schools, government departments, universities, and other key stakeholders. The successful candidate will also attend educational seminars, conferences, and events to promote Cambridge products and services.  

 

About You

You will have experience driving business growth, developing customer relationships and working within the education sector. You will be confident engaging with senior stakeholders, identifying opportunities and promoting educational solutions that deliver value to schools and other customers.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience in business development, sales, account management or stakeholder engagement within the education sector.
  • Strong understanding of the education landscape in Egypt.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with schools, education organisations, government stakeholders and other key partners.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities, influence stakeholders and deliver business objectives.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a customer-focused environment.

  • Education-related or postgraduate qualification.
  • Experience working with international schools, international qualifications or international education providers.
  • Experience representing an organisation at conferences, exhibitions, seminars or other external events.
