We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with a data engineering background to join our Global Data and Integration Team.  You will be expected to work as part of a small team who enable AI and ML ops within Cambridge, as well as bring innovative thinking to achieving our goal of near real time analytics and automation.

What will you do as a Data Scientist?

 

 As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in providing AI and ML Ops solutions working closely with product experts from technology, our business streams and the Enterprise Data Platform Management team. Your expertise and insights will enable Cambridge to utilize AI and Gen AI to automate and advance analytics within Cambridge.

 

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:

  • Over 2 years of proven expertise in Data Science, with hands-on experience in predictive and descriptive analytics, ideally with big data projects. 
  • Skilled Data Engineer with experience working in production environments on major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Demonstrated ability to independently develop AI solutions that address business or technology challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, with a track record of effectively explaining technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear evidence of your thought process and approach.
