We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Front-End) who will be part of our Academic Technology Team in Manila.  The role is responsible for supporting, designing, developing and delivering web solutions for Cambridge Core and its key content applications. The Manila hub is in Makati City, operating to support the university's global operations.

What makes you the ideal candidate in this role?

 You will be ideal for this part if you have around 3-5 years of experience in Software Development Role and have a strong competency on your tech stack and comfortable handling developers and providing them support and guidance. You will make a strong candidate if you have proven development experience or technical certifications: 

• Full-stack Javascript
  • Node.JS
  • Vue.JS
  • Nuxt.JS
• Frontend web development with HTML/CSS/JS
• Server side JavaScript based development
• MongoDB
• Tools including: Git, Grunt, Bower, NPM
• Any JS unit testing framework
• UNIX commands and scripting
• AWS or other cloud computing platform
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Experience in solution design, data modelling, analysis, and documentation
• Skills to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues in IT team, as well as non-technical users
• Not required but preferred to have experience working with:
  • PHP Laravel 5
  • Redis
