We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Education Technology Platform Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will help ensure the reliability and performance of our digital learning platforms, serving millions of learners worldwide. What will you do as a SRE?

As an SRE, you'll collaborate with our experienced team and take ownership of key automation and reliability initiatives. We're seeking someone with real DevOps experience who is ready to drive improvements. This role offers the perfect balance of mentorship and independence, giving you the support to grow while allowing you to take ownership of impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimizing CI/CD Pipelines: Lead the effort to reduce build times, such as improving from 30 minutes to under 8 minutes.
• Monitoring Solutions: Become our expert on monitoring, shaping how we track and improve platform performance.
• Automation Initiatives: Identify inefficiencies and create automation solutions that benefit the entire team.
• Knowledge Sharing: Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to share your expertise with the wider team.
• Best Practices: Help shape our best practices while growing into an expert in our technology stack.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of development experience, including work with build and deployment pipelines, creating impactful automation solutions, and hands-on cloud experience (preferably AWS). They should also have proficiency in writing production code in Python, TypeScript, or Go, along with version control experience in real projects and familiarity with monitoring tools.

Additionally, the candidate should possess:

• Proven experience optimizing CI/CD workflows
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with cloud cost optimization
• Hands-on experience with automated testing implementation
• Experience in deployment automation
