We are recruiting a Software QA Automation Engineer who will be part of our Web Solutions Team. The Automation QA's main role is to plan, develop and execute quality tests across their respective technology platform(s) to ensure that delivered software meets business defined quality/acceptance criteria and is fit for purpose.

What will you do in this role?

Working under the supervision of the Automation QA Lead in the PH, you will:

  • Develop automated test scripts, plans, data, and procedures for complex projects.
  • Contribute to shaping technical test strategy and propose solutions and tools.
  • Participate in reviewing business requirements and application designs.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage based on requirements and design specifications.
  • Write accurate software problem reports and implement quality process improvements for defect prevention.

 

What makes you the ideal candidate in this role?

As an Automation QA, you will play a crucial role in understanding requirements, helping develop the overall test plan, and developing and executing this test plan.

The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:

  • 2-5 years of software testing experience, proficient in manual, automated, or performance testing, ideally with industry certification.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium and frameworks such as Pytest.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or NodeJS, with experience in version control systems like Git.
  • Experience in Drupal testing, containerization, and microservices testing.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking systems like Jira and performance testing tools such as Locust.io, JMeter, or Blazemeter.
  • Background in data integrity validation with SQL, NoSQL, and enterprise search platforms.
  • Understanding of the software development process, including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, and problem resolution.
