We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our Manila Academic Technology Team. As a key member of our team, your goal will be to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and Agile development teams by defining requirements, exploring and assessing solution options, and ensuring the delivered functionality meets business goals. This role is crucial for analyzing stakeholder needs, delivering high-value features and improvements, and supporting the success of the Cambridge Academic Technology team.

What will you do as a Technical Business Analyst? 

 

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing support to software development teams, partnering closely with business stakeholders, Technical Product Owners and our Agile Coach. Your expertise and insights will guide initiatives to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and Agile development teams by defining requirements, exploring and assessing solution options, and ensuring the delivered functionality meets business goals. With a focus on data-driven decision-making, you will actively participate in analyzing stakeholder needs, delivering high-value features and improvements, and supporting the success of the Cambridge Academic Technology team. 

 

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role? 

  • Proven Experience:
    You have 1–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with exposure to Agile development and modern software engineering practices.

  • Work with Purpose:
    Play a key role in defining requirements, writing acceptance criteria, and ensuring deliverables meet the needs of stakeholders and end users.

  • Collaborate and Grow:
    Partner with cross-functional teams, including software developers and stakeholders, to bring ideas to life. Gain hands-on exposure to Agile practices while refining your skills in software development.

  • Analyze and Create Impact:
    Leverage your expertise in data analysis to map data, design customer journeys, and present actionable insights that drive decisions.

  • Embrace Innovation:
    Broaden your understanding of web development technologies, cloud computing solutions, and managing complex data workflows. You'll work on both frontend and API-level requirements, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose.
