Job Title: Technical Delivery Manager – Digital Commerce

Salary: £65,300- £87,350

Location: Cambridge/Hybrid (minimum 2 days a week in office)

Contract: Permanent

 

We are looking for a strong Technical Delivery Manager to oversee delivery of new solutions, integrations and delivery managing ongoing improvements to the central Digital Commerce Platform and Service capabilities at Cambridge

About the role

Do you have a strong foundation in a software development or solutions delivery role? Can you lead a technical team and confidently deliver in challenging technical landscapes to tight deadlines? Are you comfortable bringing clarity, simplifying often complex problems and managing conflicting demands?

In this role

  • be responsible for understanding technical requirements and the existing complex landscape
  • have ownership of the end-to-end delivery of new capabilities and enhancements to existing services •
  • contribute to the design of new integrations and solutions (technical and process) •
  • take the technical lead in planning and delivery of a high profile and deadline driven pipeline of work •
  • will work closely with cross functional technical teams and Enterprise Architects

 

About you

  • 5+ years of software development experience ideally in mid to large enterprise technology contexts •
  • experience leading teams in the design and delivery of technical solutions including micro service, API first architectures •
  • experience managing code delivery and a clear understanding of best practice approaches, including automated code pipelines in a CI/CD continuous deployment context •
  • have worked with Agile teams, on and offshore, bringing familiarity with common scaled Agile approaches (e.g. SAFe) and broad experience of development support tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack etc.,)
  • a passion for exploring new technologies and specifications.

 

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be motivated, highly collaborative, a pragmatic problem solver, all with a great sense of humour
