We are looking for a Workforce Planning Specialist to join our Strategic Resourcing Team supporting teams across UK and International Education. As a key member of our team, you will work with a range of stakeholders across multiple international offices to support the strategic direction of our resourcing plans as our teams grow across the globe. You will support growth plans for our international offices and the development and implementation of capacity planning tools and frameworks to ensure we have the right people in the right place at the right time.

What will you do as a Workforce Planning Specialist?

As a Workforce Planning Specialist you will:

  • Lead confidential projects supporting UK Education's strategic priorities, including creating business cases, presenting to stakeholders, and developing policies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to drive change and strategic initiatives.
  • Support the Head of Strategic Resourcing in preparing reports on key capacity data for the UK and International Education Boards.
  • Foster a positive culture and support local colleagues in the Manila office through Pastoral Leadership.
  • Advise and support stakeholders in developing and implementing capacity planning tools and frameworks.

 

What makes you the ideal candidate in this role?

As a Workforce Planning Specialist, you will lead strategic initiatives and projects for the UK and International Education (IE) strategy. This role involves working directly with senior stakeholders to support and advise on resourcing, capacity planning, and strategic project delivery. You will establish and manage key relationships to ensure the correct resource capacity is secured to meet current and future demand. Additionally, you will provide pastoral leadership for local UK Education colleagues in our Manila office.

 

The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels (from Board down)
  • An analytical and inquisitive mindset. Challenging the way things are currently done and finding new, innovative solutions.
  • Experience of capacity planning tools, frameworks and theories would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Experience leading the delivery of strategic projects or initiatives
  • Strategic thinking, business acumen, and awareness of trends impacting capacity and resourcing needs within a matrixed, global organisation.
