Job Title: Assistant Development Manager

Salary: £28,800 - £37,425

Location: Cambridge/ Hybrid (minimum 2 days in the office)

Contract: Fixed term – Until January 2026

 

Join the dynamic Qualifications Test & Development team at Cambridge International Examinations.

Our collaborative team is at the forefront of creating and reviewing syllabuses and sample materials for qualifications in 160 countries, including Cambridge IGCSE and International A Levels.

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Assistant Development Manager to join us until January 2025. If you're passionate about education and eager to develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

About the role

  • Drive Projects: Support the project management and delivery of syllabuses and sample assessments, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, delivered on time, and within budget.
  • Lead Initiatives: Take charge of specific development tasks to enhance customer experience, such as organizing remarking trials, budget reporting, and proofreading.
  • Collaborate: Engage with both internal and external colleagues to ensure seamless communication and project success.

 

About you

A global perspective with a background in international education is essential, with international teaching experience being a valuable plus.

Expertise in education, assessment, or publishing is highly desirable, along with proven experience in creating high-quality documents for publication. You will enjoy working with a diverse range of stakeholders and possess degree-level education (or equivalent). Excellent communication skills are required, along with proficiency in IT, including Word and Edexcel.

As a team player who enjoys working within a dynamic team, you are a confident leader with influencing skills and initiative, and you have the ability to take responsibility for your own projects..
